The Saskatchewan Railway Museum

The Saskatchewan Railway Museum

We are watching the government guidelines on covid and the variants very closely.

Normally, we open on the May long weekend. Whether that will happen is up in the air just now. We did open July 3rd last year.

Stay tuned for more information here, or watch our Facebook page!

The Annual General Meeting of the SRHA, operators of the Sask. Railway Museum was held on January 23,2021.

The following officers were elected to the executive: Cal Sexsmith, Linda Flory, Keith Flory, Bill Rafoss, and Chris Boon.

The Annual Report which contains the various committee reports is attached.

A huge thank you goes to our sponsors, without whom the museum could not operate, especially in this covid year:

Government of Canada – Department of Canadian Heritage (Covid Emergency Support Fund)

Young Canada Works Program

Sask Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation – Museum Grant Program

Private donors

Our volunteers have begun working at the museum and we hope to have staff on sometime soon.

We are not open to the public as of yet, due to the virus, but we hope to open over the summer.

Watch here for updates.

Meanwhile, we have started a YouTube channel. You can watch some great videos of the museum here:
