Big news with the arrival of two Bluewater passenger cars. These were bought by Gary Southgate from the N. Battleford region. He hopes to restore at least one of them.

Check our News page periodically for updates on events and activities at the Sask. Railway Museum.

We are now closed for the season, unless other arrangements are made.

Thank you Ross, Pam, and Lexi for your hard work this past summer! The summer literally flew by!

Our aging Via baggage tractor and Rescar Service truck have been idle for more than three years now. The Wednesday Crew took it upon themselves to overhaul them and fire them up! Both were propane powered, but the service truck was converted to gasoline. Both will help in the museum’s operations.

The Kopko Interpretative Centre, named after Margaret and Mike Kopko, is undergoing a major transformation. New siding is being installed on the east end, a refurbished foyer will be dedicated to members and supporters of the museum, and the interpretative displays are being rotated. August 2016 – Railway Heritage Day was a huge success on August 1st. Over 300 people attended the event and over 30 antique cars gathered for a show-n-shine. Thanks to all the volunteers and to Scouts Canada for hosting the BBQ!
